About

Please visit the UPDATE PAGES. THIS 1928 Historic Theater WILL BE RAZED IF WE DON”T STOP IT.

DID YOU KNOW?
Les Paul played on this stage in 1930, at age 14! Cool!

The Capitol Theater (renamed “The Park” in 1981) is a part of Racine’s history, with silent movies, talkies, vaudeville, newsreels, festivals, contests, radio broadcasts, comedy, performances, and many memories.

Pledges will only be collected when the non-profit 501(c)3 organization acquires the building and has signed contracts for the immediate roof and masonry repairs. If that doesn’t happen, the pledge will never be collected. Your pledge right now helps the city to see that we can do this!
